Cubs

Cubs are for boys and girls between the ages of 7 to 10 and meet every Thursday from 4:30pm to 6pm.

Our pack scouter with the help of parent helpers provide a fun driven program which keeps younger cubs coming back for more every week .The program is aimed at getting the cubs to try new skills and master them all the while earning advancements and badges .

Below are some of the activities the cubs participate in :

  • Paint the Lion Purple where cubs ascend Lions head
  • Kontiki Cub competition
  • Community service projects like beach clean ups and removal of alien vegetation
  • Visits to NSRI
  • Overnight camps
  • Various hikes in and around Cape Town
  • City Nature challenge
  • Camps Fires
HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
